Why have we changed merchandise and merchandise suppliers?

Following the release of our new Purpose and Values, the Brand team reviewed our branded merchandise requirements and merchandise range to ensure the merchandise we use is aligned. Brand reviewed several suppliers, ultimately settling on Zinc Group.

Do I have to use Zinc to order merchandise?

Zinc are AGL’s preferred merchandise provider and the only branded merchandise provider covered by an agreement.

When you order your branded merchandise through Zinc you can be assured you have confidence you are meeting Australian Standards and Regulations, the item reflects our purpose and values and has gained preapproval of Brand Marketing.  

What kinds of merchandise are available?

Core Range: There is a wide range of core items available for immediate delivery.

Made to order: This is a pre-approved made to order range with a minimum order quantity and specified lead time.  Freight is an additional charge for these orders and will be calculated based on quantity and location.

Ad-hoc: A special orders service to assist with bespoke ad-hoc requirements is always available.  Please contact tahlia.vincent@zinc.com.au to discuss your needs.

Why should I order branded merchandise or apparel?

Branded merchandise is available for promotional purposes. It's a good opportunity to heighten brand awareness in the minds of our customers, suppliers or people we do business with.  Items are also available to say "thank you" or to use at corporate events such as golf days or site launches. Furthermore, items can also be ordered as Christmas gifts. 

I’m visiting an AGL site and need hi-vis clothing

A range of hi-vis clothing is available for order via S4/Ariba.

What if a product I am looking for is not in this selection?

The range made available has been based on AGL business needs. If you would like a specific item to be considered, please contact Zinc directly or complete the special order form on the website and email orders@zinc.com.au

My Account
How do I register?

1)    Click on Create an account today!
2)    Choose appropriate registration field
3)    Fill in your details
4)    An activation link will be sent to your email address
5)    Follow the prompt in your activation email to access the new site

How can I update my details?

You can modify your delivery address and contact information. Click on the Hello (your name) text in the top right-hand corner of the home page to access your account information. Ensure you click Save after making any changes.

Please note – please refrain from entering a PO Box address as we are unable to deliver.

What payment methods do you accept?

Zinc Store accepts online payments using Visa or Mastercard. Alternatively, orders can be charged On Account for those dealers who have registered.

Credit card

Zinc Store uses the latest industry encryption technology to protect your credit card details during an online transaction.   Your credit card will be charged when you place your order to ensure goods can be dispatched without delay. Credit card purchases will be displayed as Zinc Group Pty Ltd on your credit card statement.

How do I login?

If you have already registered an account simply enter your email address and password and click on Login. If you have forgotten your password, you can click on the Forgot Password link to have your password emailed to you. If you entered the incorrect password three times, your account will be locked out and you will need to contact the hotline to have your account reset.

Ordering
How can I order AGL merchandise?

Choose the products you would like to buy by browsing through the categories or using the product search field.

Enter the quantity you would like to order then add items to your shopping bag by selecting add to cart.

If you want to continue browsing and shopping, just click on the continue shopping button.

When you are ready to submit your order, complete your delivery address details and proceed to payment details.

*Please note deliveries should be within Australia only.

How can I pay for my merchandise?

Payment can only be made by using Visa or Mastercard.

I'm not sure what size to order?

A sizing chart with measurements is available on the site.

 

How often can I place an order?

An order can be placed as often as required, however please only order what is necessary. Zinc hold some inventory in their warehouse of each of the products. 

How do I find out when something out of stock will become available?

Refer to the description field under the particular products page. If there is no information or you have any further enquiries please send an email to our customer care team: orders@zinc.com.au

Is there a minimum order?

No, there is no minimum order quantity. 

 

Can I leave things in my shopping cart?

Once you have added items to your shopping cart, they will remain in your basket for 24 hours after which time they will automatically be removed.

Delivery
Can I get my order delivered to a home or to my PO Box?

No, business delivery addresses are always preferred. Majority of orders will require a signature upon delivery.

How do I track my order?

A dispatch notification will be sent to the users email address once goods have left our warehouse. The dispatch notification will outline the consignment tracking number and also a link to our live tracking service. POD's 'Proof of deliveries' can be obtained by contacting Zinc. Can I send orders outside of Australia?

If you have any international delivery requirements, please email orders@zinc.com.au or contact the hotline on 1300 153 659 and a member of our customer care team will assist with your enquiry.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Orders placed prior to 12 noon EST will be dispatched the same day (providing the items are in stock). Orders placed after 12pm EST will be dispatched the next business day.

Estimated delivery times vary by location.

All orders for Merchandise (product) are sent via Toll Ipec, estimated timeframes below:

Melbourne Metro: Next day

  • VIC / Sydney / Adelaide: 1-2 business days
  • Hobart / Brisbane: 2-3 business days
  • NSW / SA / ACT: 3-4 business days
  • QLD / WA / NT: 5-7 business days

Please note: We are unfortunately unable to guarantee delivery times due to inconsistent courier standards across the country. We work with our courier services to resolve any issues as quickly as possible.

Can I change my mind and return my order?

Yes, however you must notify Zinc within 14 days of receiving your order. (Delivery date as noted on the POD). Returns are accepted if the item is not fit for purpose i.e. incorrect size.

Goods must still be in their original condition and packaging; the return shipping will be at your cost. Once we have received back the goods charges will be reversed on your invoice. To arrange return of goods you will have to lodge your returns request by contacting Zinc via email: orders@zinc.com.au

How can I receive my order urgently?

For any urgent deliveries, please contact Zinc on 1300 153 659 or email orders@zinc.com.au to obtain a freight quote and lead time. Additional charges for same day couriers, overnight freight or air freight will apply.

Will I be charged freight?

Yes, freight is calculated on a standard road service. If you need your order quickly, please contact Zinc to arrange an expedited service. Express delivery will be charged for additionally

Returns
Can I delete an order that has already been submitted?

Please contact Zinc on 1300 153 659 ASAP to cancel the order. Charges may apply.

Should the cancellation request come through post dispatch, the recipient will be required to pay for the order in full, however may return goods for a credit should it be within 14 days of the order request and items are in good condition.

Can I change my mind and return my order?

I have received incorrect / damaged stock

If you have received an incorrect item or damaged stock, please contact Zinc via email within 14 days of receiving your order (delivery date as noted on the POD). Email orders@zinc.com.au and we will arrange to exchange incorrect items or replace damaged / faulty stock at our cost.
